Yesterday, a bee flew on my hand and my iphone 3g went flying. It now has a very cracked screen. It does still work, however. I wish that insurance was offered as it is with the blackberry line. There are several companies on the internet that profess to fix cracked screens. My plan will allow me to do an early upgrade for $399.00 plus $18.00 upgrade fee. Any ideas? Only good news is that I didn't get stung by the bee.

Rhonda:
Cracked screens are usually 'replaced' not fixed. Who are the companies that will fix it? How much will it cost to be fixed? $417 plus tax sounds like it would be 3 to 4 times the cost to repair. If you Google the following "screen replacement for iphone 3g" the repairs start at about $39.00 for a do it yourself to about $150.00 (or more probably). |

Hey Rhonda, check with your homeowners insurance. After all this was a loss to you as a homeowner. I know the ATT guy I spoke with told me that some homeowners insurance cover the iPhone.
Experience is what you get when you were expecting something else. |
