Most of us have experienced InDesign crashing and someone telling us to throw away the preferences by going to the home folder, library folder, preferences folder and then locating the preferences for InDesign and deleting them.

Well, now you don't have to go through that hassle. With InDesign not launched, hold down the Shift, Control, Option and Command keys, and then click and hold the InDesign shortcut in your dock until you see the pop up menu, then select 'Open'. As InDesign is launching, a dialog box will open asking if you want to delete the preference files, click yes.

Cool

Is that just an inDesign thing or and Adobe thing, or does it work in any other programs?
