The iPhone doesn't have a Currency Converter app built-in. However, you can use the Stocks app to do the same thing. 1. Go to the stocks app 2. Add a new stock 3. Use the format <Currency symbol 1><Currency symbol 2>=X (example to convert US Dollar to Canadian Dollar would be USDCAD=X) Done! Add as many as you want. I've added CAD, EUR and ZAR. Now if only the USD were stronger ---- You can never go wrong by doing the right thing. http://bestappsite.com There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac! ![]()

Where do you get the list of 3-character symbols for the various currencies?

This worked for me in finding the Pound, so others here might work too. === Professor Hubert Farnsworth: “Nothing is impossible. Not if you can imagine it. That’s what being a scientist is all about.” Cubert J. Farnsworth: “No, that’s what being a magical elf is all about.”

So, why does this not work in the Apple Stocks desktop widget? Typing in USDEUR= returns "No matching symbols". You'd think the iPhone and Touch programs would work the same way.

Because you left off the "X" try USDEUR=X ---- You can never go wrong by doing the right thing. http://bestappsite.com There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac!
