I have often dragged a large photo onto a smaller new file in photoshop and had a hard time resizing it to fit (finding a corner to drag and resize).

Pressing command + 0 resizes the frame to fit and allows easy access to dragging corners. (Dont forget to hold shift key when resizing to avoid distortion).

I just watched Terry's podcast from 3-20 and discovered he explained this same tip (among others). I think those Adobe Creative Suite podcasts are great! Im sure you will beat out French Maid TV very soon in the top 10 podcast rankings!
