You can show day, date, and time in the menu bar in Tiger. You don't have to open iCAL to locate those items.
1. Open the Terminal (/Applications/Utilities). 2. At the prompt, type: defaults write -g AppleICUTimeFormatStrings -dict-add 2 "MMMM d, y hh':'mm':'ss' 'a" - then press RETURN 3. Then type: killall SystemUIServer - Press RETURN again and the time in the menubar will disappear. 4. Then click anywhere on your desktop to display the time again. |
