As you know, you can put videos (QuickTime movies) in iTunes that transfer to your video iPod. You can also buy TV shows and music videos from the iTunes store. I noticed that when I buy music videos and sync them to my iPod they end up in the music video area of the iPod automatically. Cool! Last week I converted one of my own music videos from a Quicktime movie into iPod format using Quicktime Pro. However, when it went onto my iPod I noticed that it ended up in the regular video/movies area and not in the Music Video area. So I figured that there must be a way to tell iTunes that this is a Music Video.
This lead me to the do a get info (command-I) on my movie in iTunes and then I clicked on the options tab. Sure enough there it was a pop-up to dictate what kind of movie it was. I chose Music Video and when my iPod was resync'd it ended up in the Music Video area as I intended. ---- You can never go wrong by doing the right thing. 4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions. There are three kinds of people, those who are good at math and those who aren't. There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac! ![]() |
