As you know, you can put videos (QuickTime movies) in iTunes that transfer to your video iPod. You can also buy TV shows and music videos from the iTunes store. I noticed that when I buy music videos and sync them to my iPod they end up in the music video area of the iPod automatically. Cool! Last week I converted one of my own music videos from a Quicktime movie into iPod format using Quicktime Pro. However, when it went onto my iPod I noticed that it ended up in the regular video/movies area and not in the Music Video area. So I figured that there must be a way to tell iTunes that this is a Music Video.

This lead me to the do a get info (command-I) on my movie in iTunes and then I clicked on the options tab. Sure enough there it was a pop-up to dictate what kind of movie it was. I chose Music Video and when my iPod was resync'd it ended up in the Music Video area as I intended.

You can never go wrong by doing the right thing.

There are three kinds of people, those who are good at math and those who aren't.

There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac!
