No pun intended but if you are having trouble scrubing across email messages on your iPhone to make the "Delete" option appear, like I did, increase the amount of lines displayed and this will allow a person with larger finger tips to scrub across the message and not have the message launch instead of displaying the "Delete" option. Maybe this was obvious to some but it wasn't to me and I always ended up selecting the "Edit" option and deleting the messages that way. You can change the number of lines displayed in the "Settings" > "Mail"
