Does anybody know if there is a plugin available for Acrobat 8 Professional that will allow enable commenting for reader to be automatic?
Thanks, This message has been edited. Last edited by: JeffN, |

No there isn't, as far as I know.
You have to set the PDF you create from Acrobat Professional to allow commenting to it from within Reader. |

That is a bummer, because I have several that need to be enabled. I heard that Adobe Lifecycle could do that, but who wants to spend that kind of money for this.
Hopefully someone will create a plugin for this. Thanks

Considering the type of entity that Live Cycle is geared toward,
it may well be able to do this... and I'd venture to believe it does. But you asked about Acrobat Professional. But I need you clarify what you are asking... Reader will only do what it is told to do by restrictions set to the PDF created by another entity, whether that be Acrobat Pro, Live Cycle, etc. Reader can not automatically enable commenting. |
