Comcast Internet/Modem to US ROBOTICS router to 2-eMacs without airport cards via ethernet cables. Would like to set up AirPort Extreme to use G4 laptop with wireless card. Comments?

You could go from the Comcast Modem directly to the AirPort Extreme and then to the two eMacs via Ethernet and the PowerBook G4 via Wi-Fi.
So Yes, you can eliminate the US Robotics router and use the AirPort Extreme instead.
