I have a new Moto RAZR V3 and I was wondering if I could use it as a bluetooth modem with my Macbook Pro? If so how do I do this?

You need to have a data plan with your carrier. The instructions vary somewhat depending on who your mobile provider is. Who do you use?

I use Sprint.

Looks like you'll have to do some digging. I can find several articles on using the RAZR V3 with Verizon and Cingular, but not Sprint. Try searching on V3 Sprint Mac or something similar. Sorry that's not much help, but apparently you've chosen a combo that's not written about much.

Thanks Jack I'll give Sprint a call later and see what the deal is.

I had sprint for awhile and they do not like assist in setting up a phone as a modem. I was able to set it up and plug my phone in with a data cable (not a razr) and have it dial #777 to act as a modem.
