How much RAM is in the 8500?

Looking for 128 meg RAM sticks for a project.

Mr. Cutler, I may have a boatload of tapes for that drive. Brand new in fact if you should decide to take advantage of it. -- or anyone else for that matter.

I forgot the critical part of the question: Tape Capacity? Backing up 1000MB with 40MB tapes is at best awkward.

Hey Jim:

Remember what McCoy would say. He's DEAD Jim, as in tape. Hard drives as you know are multitude times faster, and they do not require special backup software. Not to mention tape is still linear access.

Tape may be ok for huge data centers with monster library type tape drives using high capacity tapes. But you are going to need to "change" tapes a lot to backup current large capacity hard drives.

That is because Mr. Stone never needs to have a cheap and easy storage medium.

He probaly has one of these in his basement with a second one to replicate to in a remote location.
