I cant remember how to get the bounding box to show up so that I can resize the layer using the handles in CS3. (They used to just be there)

Select desired Layer > Edit > Free Transform

In addition to the Free Transform, with the layer selected, you will get the bounding box with these Transform functions. Just go the Menu/Edit/Transform - select any of these - Scale, Rotate, Skew, Distort, Perspective, Warp. The bounding box and handles will appear - and, differently, depending on the function you've chosen.
If for any reason, you want the bounding box visible while not doing a Transform, just do this. With your Move Tool chosen, just check this box in the top control palette "Show Transform Controls". Similarly, with the Path Selection Tool, you can check the box for "Show Bounding Box", in the control palette. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mike Gawet, |
