Have been printing with lightroom since leopard update and am not getting good color control with my Canon IP5000 printer. Am using standard settings. It has 6 other settings but no info avail as to what they do. If I use photoshop with standard settings I get much better results. While I can do that, It would be nice to use lightroom's print module. How do I get accurate color? How do I find the proper profile?

LR like Photoshop either manages the color for printing or lets the printer do it. By default LR let's the printer do it. Therefore you would need to make your adjustments in the printer driver. If you want LR to manage the color then you should download the proper color profile for your printer and paper and then when you choose "Other" from the Profile popup (at the bottom of the print module on the right side), you'll be able to choose the profile you want to use.
