After I successfully installed PS Elements 11 I then upgraded to PS Lightroom 4. Everything went well with the instillation. After it was installed I got the message that version 4.3 was available as a download, so I elected to upgrade to it- NO Luck. How do you get the latest version upgrade to install? The LR4I installed was a hard copy DVD, not from the "cloud".I did register it with my Adobe ID.
Hi terry. When I try to download the address bar in Safari only goes part way across the address for the download and stops? I saw the complete address at the bottom of my frame and tried to copy that into a fresh safari address bar(http://download.adobe.com/pub/lightroom/mac/4_.x/Lightroom_4_LS11_mac_4_3.dmg)- same result. I just can't get the adobe address for LR 4.3 to load to get the download?
Did you try going to http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and getting it from there or perhaps a different browser?
You can never go wrong by doing the right thing.
There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac!
All is well. The download was slow, as DSLis during holidays. I had to look for it in my downloads folder- in Snow Leopard you used to get a pop up with the progress of whatever was downloading? I'm just not used to Mountain Lion and don't do enough Adobe updates to know exactly what to look for. Thanks for your help and support.
In Safari they are now hiding the Downloads progress under View/Downloads, rather than Window/Downloads. The KB shortcut is Opt-Cmd-L.
