This was an absolutely breathtaking experience...
For the musicians in our group, he played a beautiful Bosendorfer Grand that sounded like a million bucks. For the audiophiles, the church design let every nuance ring clear and true. The piano was un-miked as it didn't need it. David Syme's wit and humour won over everyone there and his musical skills, yet again, captivated all. I returned from California at 6am Saturday and leave for Chicago at 6am on Monday. My wife was surprised I had the energy to attend this performance but I had to share this with her. Those who were in attendance will agree... "ya shoulda been there!" Dave McGuire "What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?" |
