No Power to Epson CX7000F, Printer is 2 years old. Is it done? Cant find anything in searches.

If so, I need a cheap all in one printer with fax and have always bought epson (looking at the Epson Workforce 500), should i stick with Epson?

Does it use a wall wart or just a cord into the wall? Does it plug into a power strip? Plug a lamp into the outlet it uses to test for power. Have you tried plugging it into another outlet?

Try leaving it unplugged for 10 - 15 minutes then try again. The Epson Workforce line has gotten some great reviews. I have used Epson for the last 10 years or more and have never found a reason to change.

If you do change brands be very careful of HP as they normally have an expiration date built into their ink cartridges.

it is plugged into a power strip and i have a computer working on it so thats not it. I did unplug it and try different outlets on the strip and now i have it unpluged, ill see if it resets.

It's most likely the power supply. Depending on the cost it is probably best just to toss the thing. Either that, or maybe find a cheap used one on eBay for parts?

I guess you could also check with Epson and see if they had any recalls on that model. That's what my brother did and they shipped him a brand new printer.
