You need to make a custom profile with an Eye One Pro. Then you need to choose it in ColorSync.
It seems the profile does change the look of videos on a laptop LCD when using the internal DVD drive. I have to find out more about that. I don't know much more than that. Terry and you are using DVD's in various ways I'm not familiar with. I've never tried profiling a projector for a movie, because movies (i.e., Hollywood authorities) don't offer color control. Nevertheless, Quicktime & ColorSync is altering color when playing DVD's.
I'm calling Optoma to answer some DLP projector questions. Maybe I'll write Apple too.
