Could it be that Adobe thinks Snow Leopard users should use Preview.app to view Acrobat files?

Jim - Can't speak for Adobe, but look at my recent post, if you haven't already.

Thanks, Mary Jo.
I'm not having any problems. I was just astonished at the Adobe web site stopping at 10.5.7 when 10.6.1 is current. I submitted feedback to Adobe. For the record, the Flash page admits to 10.6, as it should. . |

The list also doesn't include PowerPC 10.5.8 - so, Snow Leopard isn't the only OS not up to date.
Apparently, Adobe is behind with Snow Leopard - or, at least as far as Reader is concerned. The last version of Reader for Mac is 9.1 - and, I suspect that it still will function fine on SL. |

Why speculate when you can read the Adobe Snow Leopard FAQ that I posted right after Snow Leopard came out?
see it here. ---- You can never go wrong by doing the right thing. 4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions. There are three kinds of people, those who are good at math and those who aren't. There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac! |

Terry,
I am certainly not speculating about anything. I am simply astonished that the first place many people look for Adobe software (www.adobe.com) leads to out-of-date material. I personally would not think to look at a CS4 FAQ page for information on Adobe Reader. Especially since I already have CS4 installed on multiple machines. As I said, I did provide feedback about this via the Adobe Feedback page. . |
