Is there a minimum system/video requirement to watch "stutter-free" HD video online? I have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro in the AGP Slot-A with 64 MB of VRAM total. I seem to only be able to watch "Low" and
Medium" bit-rate video without freezes.

What Mac? That weighs heavily, but since you have an AGP system, I'm guessing it's a G4? You can pretty much write-off watching HD on anything less than a G5, and even then, you want a fast one. You really need an Intel system to see HD.

Also, what speed is your internet connection?

Sorry for the long response time, Jack.

I have a G4 with a 1.4MHz processor card. My speed is 6mbs.

Your video card just can't handle HD video without having the stutter effect. Time to give yourself a well deserved upgrade to a newer Mac.

FYI, HD of any sort generally a no-can-do here as well on the old MDD G4 1.2GHz w/Radeon 9800 Pro card.

The video card is actually less of an issue than the processor in anything other than the latest Macs that will offload some of that work. Most of the decompression work is done by the CPU, and a G4 just hasn't got what it takes.
