I was listening to some music online that required real player. After downloading the app, I noticed that real player downloader, installed with the RP app, pops up periodically with a suggested list of items to be downloaded. Can I safely trash the downloader part of the app, and if so, will it effect how the RP app works? Is it something useful to hang on to? I just don't want it popping up all the time when I'm online. Thanks for any advice on this issue.

Have you check the preferences for RP to see if you can tell it you do not want suggestions. I know that you can do that on a TiVo. I would think they would not want to tick you off to a point of deleting their product.

I checked the RP Downloader prefs and unchecked a couple of the boxes, hopefully that will take care of the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
