Definitely on the pricey side. I received a cap as a gift a few years ago. Definitely a cool thing for a Mac freak like me. And, the cap is excellent quality, even though the price doesn't seem justified. I'd guess however, that it may or may not be the only source for Apple collectibles and apparel, though I could certainly be mistaken. One of these items would still be a great gift for any Apple/Mac person. And, it's the reason that I decided to post the link.
I'm still a little confused as to the legal rights of the company producing and selling Apple brand products. I haven't had the time to look and search yet. Off-hand, it would seem to me that the company should or would have an agreement of some sort with Apple. Otherwise, how could they use the Apple logo and images? And, if there is a legal agreement between Apple and this company, why? Why didn't Apple just market the collectibles and apparel?
Quite frankly, I was reluctant to make the post, and include the link. However, I received my gift a few years ago. And, this company still exists. If there are any legal or related issues, I'd certainly be curious as to what they are.
They sell Official Apple branded products that they purchase from all sorts of places. The hat Mike bought is available at Apple's Company Store in Cupertino only. Retails for 14.95 normally, but you can ONLY buy it by walking in this store. The Missing Bite and RedLightRunner are 2 sources for buying Official Apple branded "stuff". I can tell you that the prices on the sweatshirt and fleece jacket are a great deal (actual prices) if you were so inclined.
