Recently after downloading Pics from a CD,,I have been getting ......
Volume for 2006_0603Apri15.jpg cannot be found
insert the disc or connect to the server volume and wait for it to appear on the desktop,then try again,,,,if I hit cancel ,a blank screen comes up with ? mark
It sounds like you've got iPhoto set NOT to copy the pictures into its database. So when you import pictures from a CD it will reference them on the CD and need the CD whenever you want to do something with those pictures.
So if you want to resolve this. Delete the pictures in question from the iPhoto library.
Set the preference (temporarily) back to copy photos into the iPhoto library.
Put the CD back in and import the pictures (which will copy them to your hard drive and put them in iPhoto's library).
Set the preference back to NOT copy into iPhoto's Library.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Terry White,
