i bought a new macbook recently and it came with ilife 08. in some old posts i saw that apple was allowing a free download of imovie 06. I cant see to find the actual application only updates. Is it not happening anymore. Sound like its better then 08.

Since iLife 09 came out, Apple has removed the iMovie 06 free download from their website. Might as well embrace the new software. iMovie 09 solved a lot of problems people had with iMovie 08.
