I am having trouble downloading my video from my Sony HD camcorder to iMovie 9. Because it is high definition, it downloads at half speed. When the video in the camcorder reaches the end it stops downloading and I only get half the movie. When I try to download the other half the same thing will happen and I will get half of that download. This is pretty frustrating. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

What model camera do you have? Is it on the list of cameras that work with iMovie 09 (here)? What Mac model do you have?

I have the Sony HDR-HC9. It has worked in the past so I know it is compatible with my computer.I have the iMac G5. This is a problem that seems relatively recent.
