Friends, Just purchased a refurb 2015 MacBook Pro with Sierra. It's set up, and an intro slideshow mentioned a free book for the computer at iBooks site. Got there OK, went through Apple id setup & profile-all the setup stuff. Finally indicated the book downloaded, but it's nowhere to be found- not Downloads, not Documents, not from iBooks, not by a search. Very strange. ???

PS: Need I mention that all the moving pages rolling around in Sierra are a (blank) nuisance, confusing. Is there a way to slow things down? This is nuts.

This is in High Sierra, but it should be the same. If you open the iBooks app and select Library, it should show all purchases, downloaded or not. Once it downloads, double click on the icon to open it.
