Some of the users in our Art Dept are complaining that the Open Dialog box in Photoshop is taking too long to show file/folder sizes when in column view. Is there a way turn this off? I've aleady tried turning it off in the finder and applying the setting to all windows. I believe they are using CS2.

I know this doesn't answer your question specifically, but have they thought about using Bridge to browse folders and open images instead of the Open dialog box?

Yes - they use it quite a bit. Is there a way to turn it off in the Bridge??

I guess if the All-Knowing, All-Seeing Oracle or Adobe Terry White doesn't have an answer for me, no one will. Oh well
