Hi!

So I just did the update for iTunes. You know the 3 little color balls on the left of your window at the top? Close windown, dock window, and shrink/enlarge window? Well...in the OLDER versions of iTunes, I could click the green ball and it would shrink down into a tidy little "player" window.

In iTunes 9.....it DOESN'T!

Help.

It appears to be hidden in a keyboard SHORTCUT NOW? Ugh.....

Command-Shift-M

What's up with that?!?!

For anyone who is a Mac user of much experience, the non-standard behaviour of the sizing button was aggravating, to say the least. Filling the screen to work with list view was, at the least, a pain.

Violation of the Principle of Least Astonishment is not well regarded in the Mac community.

The Mini Player is also an iTunes 9 View menu choice:

I can't click the green button and have it shrink to the mini player view??!

iTunes 9.0.1 looks to fix the mini player button problem:
