I have been trying for about an hour to install the 2.4 update from 2.3. Have installed it about 6 times (following the Adobe instructions) and it never gets installed even though at the end it says software installed successfully. Have done the 80+ MB download as well as the 60+ MB download both do not work, (for me anyhow).
Has anyone gotten it to work? Using an 8 Core MacPro 13GB RAM, OSX 10.5.8, 2-500GB drives with plenty of free space, (337.53GB free available on the boot drive). Just did a reboot and tried again with the same success (0%). Thanks for any ideas. Brian |

No problem here either on multiple Macs, but before 10.5.8.

Problem Solved. I had a previous version titled "Adobe Lightroom 2.3.app" and one titled "Adobe Lightroom 2.2.app". Well the installer was overwriting "Adobe Lightroom 2.2.app" with the install of 2.4 but not renaming it 2.4. So I installed it about 10 times for nothing. Just ran the 2.2 version and it opened up as version 2.4, go figure.
