I have Premiere Pro CS4 with all updates and OSX 10.5.8. Last week I used Premiere for deleting commercials from last seasons lost episodes. This week after starting Premiere the beach ball starts up and Premiere "Stops Responding". Anyone have any ideas.
Thanks Brian |

What have you tried already?
I'd try it under another user to see if it may be a preferences problem first. Have you rebooted? Do you have any media from your last project that's now "offline" (like an external drive no longer hooked up)? Maybe it's looking for some file. === Professor Hubert Farnsworth: “Nothing is impossible. Not if you can imagine it. That’s what being a scientist is all about.” Cubert J. Farnsworth: “No, that’s what being a magical elf is all about.” |

Thanks Jack:
I have tried all that you suggest except the new use idea. I will try that on Monday and let you know. I also received an idea from a friend of Terry's who is part of the Premiere team. Will let you know how that goes also. Thanks Brian |

Most likely either prefs or PR is not liking something about one of your connected Hard drives.
