Using my standard update process (See below) I updated a Macmini3,1 and a MacBookPro2,2 from 10.6.4 to 10.6.5. All went well. I did have to update GPGMailBundle for the new revision of Mail - no code change, just additional identifiers. Growl users may have a similar problem. Everyting looks just the same as before, so far.
My standard update process:
Time Machine backup
Repair Permissions--SuperDuper! Smart Update backup
Boot from backup
Repair system volume,
Reboot from system volume
Update using Combo Update
Since the computer does all the work, the hardest part is remembering all seven steps.
Calvin - did you see the two (2) separate backups? I want my gold star.

Yes I did James. Very Good. I will have to check my right hand desk drawer to see if I still have any gold stars left.
