I've updated to snow leopard and have a couple of issues with my printers.
1. My Epson Stylus Photo RX595 and Epson Picture Mate 260 no longer show the ink level status window when printing. How do I get that feature back? 2. The Picture Mate print dialog box now shows options in metric, although it's a dedicated 4 x 6 printer, there are more sizes shown than it can print and now when I print a photo and want a border around it, instead of printing a nice even border around the photo it puts the border only at the top and one side of the photo. Any ideas on what I need to do to get it to print correctly? |

For #1 you'll probably need updates from Epson. They have some sort of special protocol they use for getting things like ink status.
As for the other software - again, you'll most likely need an update from the manufacturer. === Professor Hubert Farnsworth: “Nothing is impossible. Not if you can imagine it. That’s what being a scientist is all about.” Cubert J. Farnsworth: “No, that’s what being a magical elf is all about.” |

Thanks Jack, I'll look on the Epson site for their latest software. I thought one of the features of snow leopard was that it was supposed to automatically get the latest printer drivers.

The ink status is a separate program from the printer driver (even though you can get to it from the printer driver).
