If the Exchange support works well, my hope is that I'll be removing Entourage from my dock this weekend. Currently I have to use it for work email. It's an OK app, however the database file is several gigs. That means with each new email it effectively means that it has been modified. Therefore Time Machine wants to back it up every hour. So I have to keep Time Machine off during the work day and turn it back on in the evening once I've quit Entourage for the day. It then backs it up ONCE for the day.

With Snow Leopard, I'd be able to use Mail, iCal and Address Book for all my work related email stuff.

Hoping to make MS Entourage a distant memory...

That alone would be worth the $29/$49 for me.

I just exclude the MS data files from Time Machine and go with my normal backups.

I want to keep that work stuff separate from my home stuff, so I'll hang onto Entourage.

I'm also not in a rush to install Snow Leopard (although I have my order in). I'll probably just put it on the iMac in the basement and see how it works with some of my software before installing on the other Intels.
