It was mentioned at the December 14 MGD meeting that the much-liked, but discontinued video conversion app, VisualHub, and its lite companion, iSquint, were now Open Source.
The source code for these is available from Sourceforge.net. A link to the files and information on how to compile them for 10.5x Leopard, and a link to "built" versions for 10.4x Tiger are at iSkysoft's How to use Techspansion's open source to build iSquint and VisualHub page. The apps have been renamed Film Redux (VisualHub) and PunyVid (iSquint). |
