My 52'Sharp LCD only has one HDMI input. I've seen splitters and boxes from $15 to $500 to add inputs. What would a recommended product(s) be? The second input would be for a DVD recorder/upconverting player; the first for a MacMini(mini-dvi to HDMI adapter). Thanks in advance. Specific advice appreciated.

I'm a fan of the switchers from Octava. Here's my original review from 2007.

You can never go wrong by doing the right thing.

4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions.

There are three kinds of people, those who are good at math and those who aren't.

There are two kinds of computer users: those who have lost data and those who are about to — backup your Mac!

I'm with Terry 100% HDMI switches are inexpensive and do the job. I have a 4 position unit for my TiVos and it does what is needed.
