Techspansion, developer of the terrific VisualHub and iSquint apps, has closed down and discontinued sale and distribution of their products, effective immediately. A Support forum and email support will be active for a short while. Explanation for this action on the site.
iSquint (free) and VisualHub were applications for transcoding and repurposing video content. Most popular use was probably getting DVD or net download video to iTunes/iPods. In many instances, working faster and better than Quicktime or Compressor. Sorry to see these go. |

I use VisualHub all the time. Guess I'll need to look for something new.

I use VisualHub weekly for my Creative Suite Podcast and I plan to continue to use it until it just doesn't work anymore, which I'm hoping will be years away. It is by far the best app at what it does. Sorry to see it discontinued.

Well, just because the developer has closed down doesn't mean the application has, too. No need to look for something new until you need some function VH won't be able to handle. |
