With the help of my MAC friends I am able to see photos stored in iPHOTO from my Powerbook G4 to my Sony LCD TV. Nice.

How do I see the photos stored in Lightroom?
So far the TV screen is black although Lightroom shows on my Powerbook. No photos are on TV as with iPhoto.

You would either have to make sure Mirroring is turned on in your Display preferences or move the Lightroom window over to the other monitor (your TV).

I've gotten Lightroom on my TV screen by dragging.

I see my pictures by clicking one at a time but cannot play slideshow. What do I select to see Slideshow which shows on my computer but not on TV? The TV screen turns black.

Where do you find Display Preferences to turn mirroring on, if I still need to?

If you make the TV your main display in the System Prefs, then the slideshow will show there.

1) Open System prefs and click on Displays
2) Click the Arrangement tab and you'll see two monitors
3) one will have a white bar at the top (representing your menu bar and main display)
4) drag the white bar to the other display (your tv)
5) close System prefs
6) run your slideshow.
