All the locations in Terry's story are similar and in the same general area and I don't mean to get them mixed up but one of the greatest westerns ever made was The Searchers with John Wayne. This film was shot entirely on location in Monument Valley Utah/Arizona. The Monument Valley area was sceneicly great as a backdrop for the movie but it's only about a 25 square mile area. Still, in the movie, John Wayne managed to wander for 7 years searching new areas all the time. I always laughed at that scenario but is reality copying art again?
