I just signed up with a new web service called www.Tineye.com It analizes images and looks for matches online to see if your photos are being used with or without your permission. Right now it is in beta and you can request an invite to try it. There is a video at the site that explains it better.

I did find one match to an image I retouched while working for an art studio. I don't own the image and I can't even recall who the client was. But TinEye found it.
