Well, maybe not a rumor since it's officially hit the news but Apple & VW are in talks to create an "Apple Package" upgrade on it's VW's.

That is one of VW's experimental ideas of a 12 cylinder in a GTI with 650bhp. It's two of their VR6 engines side by side (hence the "W". They are working on some great ideas for performance - after all that's the car that created the phrase "pocket rocket" and everyone else followed. |

I had a 1985 Golf GTI. I don't know if it was because it was my first car out of college or what but I really enjoyed that car. It had a great suspension and it was a little rocket.

All you have to do is look for the origin of the image I posted.

too bad VW's ceo scrapped this design. It was supposed to be out in late 08 or 09 but he decided they need to redesign it… disappointed just about every VW enthusiast.
