My wife bought a new iPadAir2 2 weeks ago. She went tp Staples looking for a cover and a longer Lightning cord for it. She purchased an apple cover(at a good price) and a Staples striped 6ft lightning cord. She didn't keep the packaging or receipt, but we are on their preferred customer program with e mail promotions, etc. The Lightning cable failed within 5 days- Staples manager said he was unable to refund it without original packaging. He offered to SELL us another one at his discount! I replaced the cable at MicroCenterand paid $2 for a 2 year no questions warranty on it. Staples needs lesson in customer service, IMHO.
