Not a recommendation - just sharing something interesting.

Not ready for Macs as yet, however.
"Mac OS support available via software update later in 2011"

Wonder if Apple might come up with something similar ???????

Well, here's the new Apple display. I haven't read all the fine print, but don't see mention of a wireless feature. Apparently the Thunderbolt technology requires a cable.
Interesting nonetheless - and tempting, if it works with older Apple computers (3-yr old MacBook Pro, 1 1/2 yr old Mini).

Some random reading suggests that Thunderbolt connections are only possible on new Macs with the ports. If not accurate, let us know.
