My USB Zip Drive just died (with disk in it) and I am looking for either a Zip 100 or 250 to replace it. I do NOT need a SCSI or Parallel version (have plenty of those already), just another USB meodel. Zip 750 models will be considered as well.

And for those who think they are funny... No, I won't meet you at a Stucky's in my VW Microbus to pick it up!

Are you aware that the 750 version Will Not read Zip 100 Discs.

The 750 Zip drive will READ a 100 disc but will not WRITE to a 100 disk.

I have a 250 USB ZIP. I'd consider parting with it but first I would need to spend some time going through my box of ZIP disks to see if any of them really have anything I might want to archive to other media. If you don't find one elsewhere anytime soon drop me an email at chuckr at mac dot com.

You are correct, I had forgotten the Read but not Write deal as it has probably been two or three years since I even inserted a ZIP disc.

The ZIP 250 drive will Read and Write ZIP 100 discs.

I have one ZIP 100 drive, that has an IDE interface if these will help. It also has a 5 1/4" face plate attached and could be used in an older CD size external case.

The price would be free to you if you want it.

I have an internal IDE Zip drive that I'd be willing to part with for a nominal fee. It's in my G4 500 tower that originally came with the computer. Seeing that I think I've used it a total of 10 times or less, I'm sure I won't miss it much.
