Southfield: Used computers are needed Oakland County is partnering with Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit to collect used computers from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the county's complex, 1200 N. Telegraph. All residential computer equipment including printers and scanners will be accepted. The drive will take place in the parking lot behind the medical examiner's office. Even I stopped by and dropped off my wife's old Compaq tower and a CRT

Thanks for posting that, Dave - I couldn't get out there today but I have a carload or two of stuff I want to take over there, and 14/Stephenson is right around the corner.

Computer Recycler is run by a man named Tony and is at 32525 Stephenson Hgwy, Building 2 just south of 14 Mile. You need to call to let them know you are coming - (248)705-4912. They also accept other types of electronics (faxes, stereo equip) but no televisions at this point.
