I want a nice second display for my MacBook Pro. Does anyone have an older Apple Studio or Cinema display? Pre '04 preferred I think the newer aluminum ones are out of my price range.

You know that you will need to buy an DVI to ADC adaptor box to make that work with an older display. They're $100. So figure that into your cost.

Nope... they came with ADC connections. You are better off looking for a model with DVI instead.

I have an Older 17" Studio Display, but it's CRT, not LCD. It has the dreaded Flyback transformer problem, but looking online the part is only about $30 (Plus finding a qualified Monitor Repair person to install it).
