Does anyone know where I can get DVcam tapes locally? I need them for this weekend. I can use mini DV, but they only 40 minutes in my Sony PD-100.
I am taping a play and each act is longer than expected. Even used tapes would work. Thanks, Jamie |

Are you looking for the larger digital8 tapes. they are digital tapes, but bigger.If so, I have some, but I no longer have a camera that takes them.

Thanks, but they are not the digital 8 tapes. They are the same size as the mini DV tapes, but have several advantages. Jamie |

CompUSA has all their tapes 20% off. I was able to purchase a 3 pak of MiniDV tapes for $12. Pretty sure they had the type you were looking for as well. Dave McGuire "What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?" |

I did call the Novi store and they said they did not carry them. What location did you check. I thought they all carried the same things.

Give Bruce Mandel (Mandel Video) a call, 248-656-1777. He uses DV CAM and either he can sell you a couple of tapes or provide a local source to get some.
