Greetings listers. Just wondering if anyone who has upgraded to Adobe CS4 apps would want to legally sell their older CS3 license? Legally as in get Adobe to transfer the license. Not asking for anything unethical, just looking for a deal on vintage (like me) software for home, non-professional use. Q

Chances are, if they did an actual upgrade, they can't transfer their old versions, as they got a price break based on having the old software, and they are contractually tied together. Based on the upgrade vs non-upgrade price, you'll be hard-pressed to find someone who decided to pay full price even though they had CS3 around.

You are probably correct but one never knows what software is lying about... unused... unwanted... uninstalled... crying out for a friendly processor... hmm, sounds like I.T.

We have an unopened, shrinkwrapped version of Photoshop 5 purchased in the 90s collecting dust. Wondering what the value might be as an upgrade starting point vs. buying a new version. It's Mac also and could it be changed over to Windows?
Thanks, |
