I am looking for either the original install CDs for a 2002 iBook or OS X (10.2 or 10.3) retail CDs for a friend that just bought a used iBook from a school sale that came without any install CDs.
She also needs a "G" & "J" key if by chance someone has a dead iBook keyboard laying around. Thanks |

Why not try purchasing the "original install CD/DVDs" direct from Apple. They seem to cooperate when users need to replace the original install disks.

Since this is a 2002 model, Apple may not be able to supply original install disks. The unit is considered "Obsolete" because of it's age and that means no more support is offered. Units within 5 years of date of purchase are supported and AppleCare can burn a new set of disks for around $50 (includes shipping).
I may have an extra set of 10.2 retail disks here, give me a few days to locate them. Dave McGuire "What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?" |
