This is my wife's Mac Mini that is available. She now has a 20" Intel iMac and said to sell it. Seems she thinks we have too many computers here already Wink

Spec's:
This is the last of the G4 Mac Mini's. It is what Apple considered the "Ultimate" models. 1.5 GHz Processor, 512meg RAM, 80 gig Hard Drive, SuperDrive (DVD+RW/CD-RW), Radeon 9200 video w/ 64 meg of DDR memory, built-in Airport Extreme (802.11g) and Bluetooth. This computer will have a fresh install of OS 10.4.9 and iLife '06 on it (I do not have the original install disks but will include an OS 10.4 backup disk.) and I can install OS 9/Classic if you want. Also included is a Apple keyboard and Mighty Mouse (both are wired models) and to sweeten the deal, a LaCie 160 gig Mini Hard Drive that is the same size as a Mac Mini. The Mini fits perfectly on top of the LaCie unit and both units have worked flawlessly for us. I will also include a 15" MAG LCD monitor, that I bought from another MGD member over a year ago, for free but the screen acts up every now and then.

Price is $600 firm for everything. I would prefer to sell it all as a package but would be open to discussion. I have the packaging for the Mini and the LaCie should shipping be required.

The memory can be increased to 1 gig of RAM and I will be happy to install it for free but you will have to provide it. Check www.macsales.com for pricing.

Any and all questions can be directed to dave AT macgroup DOT org . I will be bringing this to the May meeting for test drives.

Is it possible to mount an iSight on the MAG LCD monitor? I have the various mounts. And what is it that the screen is doing when it "acts up"?

If you have the mount with the adhesive on it, you are good to go! We used the tabletop mount for our iSight.

The screen will sometime change colors at startup and from time to time. I am using it currently with a 17" CRT and haven't had an issue in 2 weeks. Willing to bet that the MAG monitor is on it's way out since it is almost 5 years old.
