This iMac has been kept in beautiful condition. (This belonged to our late member Leonard Mazerov; those of you who remember him will know how meticulous he was about his things.)

3.2GHz Intel Core i4
4GB of RAM
1GB hard drive
built-in SuperDrive (CD/DVD)

Full specs here: https://support.apple.com/kb/sp695?locale=en_US

It's a decent machine as-is, and with a couple upgrades (which I can install for you), can be turned into a speed demon.

A new 27-inch iMac is $1800!

My asking price (as configured): $600 (obo).

Add an Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard and Apple Magic Mouse for $50 (obo).

Note that the RAM can be upgraded to 16GB (see pricing below).

By adding an SSD, I can convert the internal hard drive into a speedy fusion drive (see pricing below).

Note: It has 4GB of RAM (two 2GB modules), upgradable to 16GB

If 4GB isn't enough for you, I can upgrade it for you:

  • Add a 4GB module to get 8GB for $40
  • Add two 4GB modules to get 12GB for $75
  • Add three 4GB module to get 14GB* for $105
  • Add four 4GB module to get 16GB** for $135

* Adding three 4GB modules requires removing one of the exiting 2GB modules
** Adding four 4GB modules requires removing both existing 2GB modules

I don't charge a labor fee for the memory upgrade.

If you want the SSD + fusion drive upgrade, the charge will include:
$17.50 for the special cable kit from OWC, plus the cost of an SSD — as little as $50 depending on the size. (And you won't need a big one, because you'll already have the 1TB hard drive.)

If you want the SSD option, and you want me to install it (strongly recommended), then a labor fee of $125 will apply.

Is it still for sale? What year was it built?
Lastly, what OS is it running? I'm going to have to replace my 2008 iMac. The only thing is that I'm running FileMaker Pro 7 which runs on the older OS. I just may have to upgrade though.
My new e-mail address is goolsb19@comcast.net. It's been years since I've been on this site.

It's a Mid-2010 model.

That model was introduced in July of 2010, and discontinued in May of 2011.

And the price is now $400.

So is this a Core i3 or i5? There has never been an i4.

According to MacTracker this will run the latest macOS (High Sierra needs a 2009 or higher iMac so this is well within spec).

These did come with a 1 or 2 TB hard drive (or a 256 GB SSD).

No, not really. It's a 1 TB drive. (Good catch.)

If I copy & paste, hopefully I'll avoid the typos:
  • 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor with 4MB level 3 cache; supports Hyper-Threading
  • 4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM; four SO-DIMM slots support up to 16GB
  • 1TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA hard drive
