My seven month old MacBook is in excellent condition, loaded with software and even has AppleCare. My asking price is $700.00. Here are some particulars:

It is a glossy white Macbook 2.1 with a 13.3" display, purchased at the Apple Store in Novi just before Christmas 2006. I also purchased AppleCare (2 additional warranty years), which stays with the computer whomever owns it. The operating system is 10.4.10 and the computer has a 1.83 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo processor and has 512 MB RAM.

Other specs include a 60 Gb Hd, 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM, Combo Drive and built in iSight camera. The software includes the standard stuff plus AppleWorks, iLife, iWork, Roxio Toast Titanium, Audio Hijack, Drop Stuff and several applications which I don't remember what they are for. I will, of course, include the orig. install disks and power/charger cords.

If this isn't enough info or if you have questions please write to me at rwaldorf@carbiderecycling.com.

You're doing just fine with this site although I've also had problems navigating around it. I'll send you an email immediately.

Richard,

Another suggestion is to provide "the specs" as part of your posting. Remember, potential customers are lazy! Having to look up your email address (how?) to create and send a message is nowhere as easy as just reading another paragraph.

I would not refer anyone else to your posting if I have to go to so much effort just to find out if it might be of interest. I need to know before I refer anyone.

I agree.
Merely putting 2.1 and a price does not give someone enough to go on. To elaborate, here are some suggestions on how to post to get my interest:
"Mac 2.1". this does not tell me much. I would have to go on the net to figure out which one this was. A picture does not tell me. I know they are white (or maybe this one comes is black also). If so, you should simply state the color, not link to a picture.
What size in inches?
What speed?
What processor? probably Intel.
How much RAM installed? How much possible?
What size harddrive? Speed if you know.
Combo or SuperDrive? so one knows if it can write DVDs.
Bluetooth?
Airport type? probably g.
Expiration date for the AppleCare.

These are the kinds of things that should be in your initial listing. One glance and someone can tell if they are interested.Don't make us search these things out. time is money.
An easy way to contact the person, besides the internal private posting is helpful also. It took me quite a while to figure out how to do that, and , even now, I rarely check those messages in the private postings. If you are concerned about your email address being picked up by a bot, spell it out in words, e.g. SoAndSo at Wherever dot Whatever.
